In DJF, all countries in NEACOF will be at mid-season (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine) for the wheat crop.

For wheat crop at mid-season stage, above normal precipitation which may result in heavy rain can lead to yield loss from disease and root problems

For wheat crop at mid-season stage, below normal precipitation during reproductive and grain-filling phases cause substantial yield reductions in wheat.

Please see the Methodology for documentation of crop calendar and hazard affecting crops in NEACOF members.

In JJA, many countries in NEACOF will be at mid-season (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine) season for the corn crop.

For corn crop at mid-season stage, above normal precipitation may lead to excessive water conditions which can cause poor nutrient update and lead to root diseases such as pythium or crown rot.

Please see the Methodology for documentation of crop calendar and hazard affecting crops in NEACOF members.
